There are a number of things you can take away from it and not every journey will be the same for every viewer. The story itself holds you at arms length for much of the film – almost alienating you entirely – before it allows you in and gets you hooked...“Rebirth” proves that you don’t need CGI to tell an exciting story and it also shows that independent filmmaking has finally arrived. No longer the little brother to big budget films, independent stories are often times stronger these days and tell fearless stories that don’t try to appease everyone’s tastes.
A clever and subtle film that explores the psychological backlash of capitalism and the culture it created.
